HAP Academy OIC is part of the Hmong American Partnership (HAP), a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering immigrant and refugee communities by providing education, workforce training, and career advancement opportunities. Founded in 1990 to serve a growing Hmong population in Minnesota, HAP has expanded over the past 30 years to become the largest Hmong non-profit in the United States, serving clients from over 18 nationalities.
At HAP Academy OIC, we are committed to breaking the cycle of poverty by equipping individuals with the skills and credentials needed for sustainable employment and career growth. We tailor our programs to meet the unique needs of underserved communities, with culturally sensitive training and services designed to support social and financial prosperity.
Our Training Programs Include:
- Healthcare: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Phlebotomy
- Transportation: CDL Permit B (Commercial Driver’s License)
- Manufacturing: Soldering, MSSC (Manufacturing Skills Standards Council) Certification
- Information Technology: Tech+, A+, N+, Security+, Cybersecurity, and PenTest
Our programs are tuition-free and WIOA-certified, helping over 400+ students annually move into high-demand, well-paying careers. We provide flexible hybrid learning models, job placement services, and access to industry-recognized credentials, ensuring students are prepared to thrive in today's workforce.
